Obituary for Duece Murphy
Deuce was a loyal companion and my first hunting buddy. He taught me the patience and commitment needed to be a good hunter and trainer. Not only did he keep me company while duck hunting, but he literally saved my life when I fell out of our boat by nudging his head under my arm and helping me to shore. Deuce loved a good bumper and would lay under a shade tree with one all day if I'd let him. He enjoyed belly rungs and a good ear scratch . Deuce also enjoyed a shared snack cake and coffee in the duck blind. The one who started it all, there will be many to follow, but none as special as you. Deuce, you were one of a kind.
